I am sure you are now all aware of the positioning of the PG, it being firmly placed in the business process outsourcing market focusing on Financial Services sector. Yes, we do have other business lines but we are making a concerted effort to position them more appropriately so as not to produce brand confusion. This was most clearly seen in the recently launched LEAP brand for our creative services division.

PPI

We are assisting our client PPI in transferring its clients’ agency from Financial Partners to its new setup TOB with providers. PPI is registered as Finance World Limited T/A Professional Portfolio International. Change of agency is currently underway for clients under Royal Skandia, Friends Provident, Man Investment, AVIVA and LM Investment. PPI is also in the process of acquiring a new agreement with the rest of the providers so the rest of its clients can be identified under the new agency instead of Financial Partners. These changes will have an effect on Corporate Services staff’s daily task, so if you have questions or in need of clarification, consult with your direct manager.

I have several news update to share with you all. True, this month has been slow but despite this, we managed to finalize several external projects. We completed Up.Date, the BritCham monthly magazine, and developed logos for Chater Consulting, Waroeng Jawanua, and DB Capital Partners.

A branding program should be designed to differentiate your cow from all the other cattle on the range - even if all the cattle on the range look pretty much alike. That is exactly what we are trying to do with LEAP which is to differentiate our brand and our service offering to allow it to stand out in the market. Currently we are working on the website and hopefully we can get it live by the end of June. Soon after all our marketing initiatives to introduce LEAP will follow. It’s been a promising start for LEAP with new projects and inquiries constantly coming in even before our formal launch, which is a fantastic start!!

Farewells Bring New Opportunities

As head of Technoloy Services, I’d like to wish a warm farewell and good luck to two of our managerial staff who have decided to strike out for new shores. As most already know, Anton Nugroho resigned a few weeks ago, and Marcel Djohan will also be leaving us at the end of this month. Both of these men have contributed tremendously to the growth and service offerings of Technology Services (and of Precision Group) over the past several years.
